"It is true that my time with One Life to Live is up. It has been an AMAZING 4 years that I will never ever forget. I just want to say THANK YOU to all the fans for all the letters, support, and encouragement through the years, especially from those "Rexianna" fans who hold a special place in my heart. I am leaving simply because I don't believe in ever wondering "what if?" The show is so supportive and I am so grateful to have had this experience with such a wonderful group of people. So I'm off to new adventures with my fingers crossed that I make everyone very proud!"

06/06/07: Update from Melissa: 
Just to let you guys know...despite rumors that I am leaving in August...I'm not going anywhere! My contract isn't up till winter and that's so far away I'm not even thinking or planning anything. So for AT LEAST the next 8 months I'll be happily in Llanview causing the usual drama!
